About the Role
The Assistant Manager Projects is responsible for supporting the planning, design, coordination, and execution of workplace, campus, and infrastructure projects that align with organizational objectives and enhance user experience. The role works closely with business units, schools, consultants, and vendors to develop functional, aesthetically appealing, technology-enabled, and sustainable environments while ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and workplace design guidelines. Supports workplace strategy implementation, space planning initiatives, and project execution across the organization.
Responsibilities
Workplace Planning & Design Collaborate with business units, schools, and stakeholders in understanding workspace requirements and translating them into effective design solutions. Assist in developing space planning options, workplace layouts, and design concepts that optimize functionality, collaboration, flexibility, and user experience. Design development for classrooms, auditoriums, meeting rooms, faculty areas,



collaboration zones, innovation hubs, and administrative spaces. Support preparation of interior design concepts, material palettes, furniture specifications, lighting strategies, and finish selections aligned with organizational standards. Workplace Experience & Ergonomics Incorporate ergonomic principles and user-centric design practices into workplace planning and project execution. Support implementation of designs that promote employee well-being, accessibility, productivity, and operational efficiency. Assist in evaluating workplace utilization and identifying opportunities to improve user experience and space effectiveness. Sustainability & Technology Integration Support implementation of sustainable design practices through responsible material selection and energy-productive solutions.
