Standard Furniture Mart is a design-led custom furniture workshop based in Dehradun, working closely with architects, interior designers, and end users .

Job Description
- Analyse clients’ needs and develop designs as per requirements
- Conceptualise and model furniture using softwares such as AutoCad, SketchUp, SolidWorks etc.
- Create visual furniture layouts & mood boards for clients
- Coordinate with the operations team and carpenters to ensure all furniture designs are in keeping with company standards and regulations
- Coordinate with architects and contractors to ensure all designs are accurate and feasible
- Assist in ideation and prototyping of in-house furniture collections

Skills we’re looking for
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must (SketchUp, Rhino, or Fusion 360 are a bonus)
- Eye for design, proportion, detailing, and materials
- Strong understanding of furniture construction methods & ergonomics
- Clear communicator, proactive, and willing to take ownership
- Undergrad in furniture design, interior design or a related field
- A working knowledge of furniture ergonomics & joinery
