Job DescriptionAbout the Role
nWe are looking for someone to handle day to day accounting and compliance in-house. The work is hands-on and operational: keeping the books updated, raising invoices, processing payments, and completing statutory filings on time. This is an individual contributor role and you will handle the function independently.
nResponsibilities
nBooks and records
n
- n
- Allocate and categorize transactions in Zoho Books and keep the ledgers updatedn
- Bank, card, and payment gateway reconciliations, including multi-currency accountsn
- Maintain vendor and customer ledgers, advances, and balance confirmationsn
- Maintain the fixed asset registern

nInvoicing and receivables
n
- n
- Raise and send customer invoicesn
- Track ageing and follow up on collectionsn
- Flag overdue accounts as they come upn

nPayments and payables
n
- n
- Vendor bill entry and verification against POs and contractsn
- Schedule and process vendor paymentsn
- Employee reimbursements and petty cashn

nPayroll
n
- n




- Run monthly payroll along with statutory deductionsn
- Full and final settlementsn

nStatutory filings
n
- n
- GST: monthly and quarterly returns, GSTR-2B reconciliation, ITC tracking, annual returnn
- TDS: deduction, challan payment, quarterly returns, Form 16 and 16An
- PF, ESI, and Skilled Taxn
- Advance tax computation and paymentn
- ROC and MCA annual and event based filingsn
- Coordinate with the external auditor and tax consultant for schedules and queriesn

nDubai entity

- Maintain books for a UAE free zone entity, coordinated with our UAE consultantn
- Corporate tax and VAT filing support, along with ESR and UBO submissions where applicablen
- Inter-company transactions and reconciliation between entitiesn

nRequired Skills

- CA Inter, CMA Inter, or M.Com / B.Com with hands-on compliance experiencen
- 2 to 4 years of practical accounting experience. Articleship at a CA firm followed by indust
