We are looking for a Network Automation Engineer with strong expertise in SolarWinds and network automation to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that improve network monitoring, operational efficiency, and service reliability. The role involves integrating monitoring platforms with automation frameworks, developing scripts, creating dashboards, and enabling proactive network operations across enterprise and multi-vendor environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

Solid hands-on experience on SolarWinds customization and integration experience on a large-scale network.

Use SolarWinds application to automate the Network Infrastructure.

Design, deploy and troubleshoot its integration with network applications.

Apply a comprehensive understanding of network technologies and concepts.

This includes routing, switching, firewalls, and network monitoring and management.

Develop, test and upgrade enterprise network architectures Administration.

Upgrade, patch, and maintain the overall network infrastructure using Solarwind Monitoring.

Monitor the utilisation, performance and availability of the network infrastructure and its services.

Support the architecture, design, implementation, and compliance efforts for effective cloud network security.

When required, perform network integration work to support hybrid or multi-cloud models with SolarWinds Troubleshooting.

Identify and resolve network problems.

Administer, configure,



and maintain **SolarWinds Orion Platform** (NPM, NCM, NTA, IPAM, SAM, UDT, VNQM).

Design and implement automated workflows for network provisioning, health checks, configuration validation, and compliance.

Develop automation scripts using **Python**, **PowerShell**, or **Bash**.

Build automation playbooks using **Ansible** for multi-vendor network devices.

Integrate SolarWinds with **ServiceNow**, REST APIs, webhooks, and ITSM platforms.

Develop custom dashboards, alerts, reports, and executive-level monitoring views.

* Automate configuration backup, compliance checks, firmware validation, and inventory collection.

* Monitor network performance, availability, bandwidth utilization, and capacity trends.

* Troubleshoot monitoring issues, polling failures, SNMP/WMI/API connectivity, and alerting problems.

* Implement network device discovery and automate onboarding of new infrastructure.

Support root cause analysis by correlating events, logs, and performance metrics.

Maintain automation documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.

* Collaborate with operations, implementation, cloud, and security teams for automation initiatives.

* Experience automating multi-vendor network environments.

* Strong knowledge of SolarWinds deployment, upgrades, scalability, and performance tuning.

* Experience integrating monitoring tools with ITSM and automation platforms.

* Ability to create reusable automation frameworks and self-healing workflows.

* Experience with configuration compliance and network audit automation.

* Understanding of enterprise network architecture and operational best practices.
