Not because the problems are small, but because the best engineers have an unusual ability to cut through complexity, identify the one thing that matters, and solve problems others struggle with for weeks.

At Kula, you ll work on some of our hardest problems across AI and agentic systems. You ll build intelligent systems that dont just assist humans, but reason, take action, and autonomously complete meaningful work.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who combines exceptional technical judgment with extreme execution speed.

What youll do

You ll build AI systems and agents that operate in the real world.

You ll take ambitious, ambiguous problems and turn them into working products - quick.

You ll experiment with LLMs, agents, tools, memory, reasoning, evaluation, and orchestration to push the boundaries of what autonomous systems can reliably do.

You ll own problems end-to-end: understanding the problem, designing the system, writing the code, shipping it, observing how it behaves, and improving it.





You ll know when a problem needs a sophisticated new architecture and when it needs a chalk mark.

You might be the Engineer if...

You have an unusual ability to find the root cause of complex problems.

You can take something from an idea to production faster than most teams can schedule the kickoff meeting.

You have strong opinions, but youre willing to throw them away when the data proves you wrong.

You dont measure your impact by lines of code or hours spent. You measure it by problems solved.

You are deeply curious about AI and agentic systems and are constantly building, experimenting, and learning.
