About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team at Herinext India. The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in WordPress development, with a strong background in custom plugin creation, theme development, and website optimization.

This role involves independently managing end-to-end development projects, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance website performance and user experience. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience of 4+ years in WordPress development is essential, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in custom plugin and theme development.

Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles is required. Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, and Gutenberg, along with experience using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), will be advantageous. Knowledge of WooCommerce customization and integration,



along with the ability to evaluate and incorporate third-party plugins, is also necessary.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good communication abilities are key attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and themes to meet client requirements.
- Create and optimize custom plugins, hooks, filters, and shortcodes to extend website functionalities.
- Implement responsive designs ensuring seamless user experiences across devices.
- Customize and optimize WooCommerce stores, including payment gateways, product pages, and checkout processes.
- Evaluate third-party plugins for compatibility and performance, and integrate them effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly, maintaining website security and performance.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and content teams to implement visual and functional enhancements.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and others to streamline development workflows.
- Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications clearly and accurately.
