Detailed

We are looking for a Developer who can support maintenance, bug fixing, automation, and validation activities for existing software components. The resource should be hands-on with C and Python , comfortable working on support issues, and able to use tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools where required.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide full time support for maintenance, bug fixes, issue analysis, and minor enhancements.
- Work on existing C and Python codebases with minimal ramp-up.
- Analyze support tickets, reproduce issues, debug root causes, and provide fixes.
- Use Python scripting or automation to reduce manual effort wherever applicable.
- Support validation, regression testing, and release testing activities when required.
- Add or update BDD test cases as guided by the team.
- Support OpenPKI / PKI-related work on a part-time or need basis.
- Work with PKI concepts such as certificates, CAs, CSRs, enrollment, renewal, and revocation when needed.
- Coordinate with internal teams, SBUs, vendors, and other stakeholders for issue closure.
- Leverage GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools responsibly for maintenance, test creation,



and code understanding.
- Participate in AISDLC activities when and where required.
- Maintain clear documentation for fixes, test updates, known issues, and handover items.

Required Skills

- Good hands-on experience in C development and debugging .
- Working knowledge of Python scripting and automation .
- Experience in maintenance, production support, bug fixing, and troubleshooting .
- Ability to understand existing code and make safe, controlled changes.
- Basic knowledge of PKI concepts and certificate lifecycle management .
- Familiarity with OpenPKI, DigiCert Credential Manager, KeyScaler, or similar PKI/certificate platforms is preferred.
- Experience with BDD test cases or willingness to add/update them as guided.
- Familiarity with Git, issue-tracking tools, and standard SDLC practices .
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot where useful.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

- 3 years of experience in C++, Python development, maintenance, support, automation, validation support, or PKI/security-related systems.
