Media Waley is looking for an experienced and skilled Website Developer who knows their work inside out and can take complete ownership of website development, performance and maintenance.
What We’re Looking For
- 6–7+ years of hands-on experience in website development.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and up-to-date web development technologies.
- Experience with WordPress / Shopify / PHP and other relevant platforms.
- Ability to develop responsive, fast and user-friendly websites.
- Strong understanding of website performance, speed optimisation, SEO basics and security.
- Experience in integrating APIs, payment gateways, third-party tools and other website integrations.
- Ability to troubleshoot bugs, resolve technical issues and maintain existing websites.
- Good understanding of both frontend and backend development.
- Someone who can independently handle projects from development to launch.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Most importantly — you should be genuinely good at what you do.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Developing and maintaining company/client websites.
- Building new website features and improving existing ones.
- Ensuring websites are responsive, secure and optimised for performance.
- Identifying and fixing technical issues and bugs.
- Working closely with the creative, content and marketing teams.
- Managing website updates, integrations and regular maintenance.
- Taking ownership of website projects and ensuring timely delivery.
