Web Developer – TypeScript / Angular

We are looking for a strong Web Developer with hands-on TypeScript experience, preferably with Angular, to join our team working on applications in the insurance domain.

We are specifically looking for developers who can take ownership of deliverables—people who can understand requirements, identify gaps, make sound technical decisions, and drive features through development, testing, and release rather than waiting for detailed instructions at every step.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop modern, responsive web applications using TypeScript.
- Build and maintain front-end applications, preferably using Angular.
- Own assigned features and deliverables end-to-end, from requirements through production readiness.
- Work with product, business, backend, QA, and other team members to clarify requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, and production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture and engineering best practices.
- Understand business workflows and develop solutions that meet both functional and technical requirements.
- Communicate progress, dependencies, risks, and blockers proactively.

Required Skills
- Strong experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Experience developing modern web applications.
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS, responsive design, and browser fundamentals.




- Experience integrating with REST APIs and asynchronous services.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and web application security.
- Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Solid experience with Angular.
- Experience with RxJS, Angular services, routing, forms, interceptors, and component-based application design.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with cloud-based applications.
- Previous experience in the insurance domain or other financial-services applications.
- Familiarity with insurance workflows such as policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, customer/agent portals, or integrations with insurance systems is a plus.
