Role Description The Waterproofing Engineer will work full time, on-site in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area, conducting diagnostic evaluations of seepage, dampness, and related structural issues in residential properties. This role involves performing thorough on-site inspections, using tools such as thermal imaging and moisture measurement devices to identify underlying causes of water ingress and dampness. The engineer will document findings, analyze data, and prepare clear, structured reports with evidence-backed conclusions and recommendations for homeowners.
Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating site visits, interacting with clients to understand concerns, adhering to Foxscan’s non-repair,
unbiased diagnostic model, and maintaining accurate records of each assessment.
The Waterproofing
Engineer will collaborate with other certified professionals to uphold quality standards and support continuous improvement of diagnostic methodologies.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems, building materials, and construction practices relevant to seepage and dampness diagnosis.
- Experience with structural diagnostics, including use of thermal imaging, moisture meters, and other assessment tools.
- Ability to analyze site conditions, interpret data, and identify root causes of water-related issues in residential structures.
- Advanced report-writing skills, with the ability to present technical findings in clear, concise, and homeowner-friendly language.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for on-site client interaction and explanation of diagnostic results.
- Attention to detail, solid observational skills, and a methodical approach to inspections and documentation.
- Relevant engineering degree (Civil, Structural, or related field) and professional certifications in waterproofing or building diagnostics are highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage multiple site visits, and uphold ethical, non-commercial diagnostic practices.
