Key Responsibilities

Test Tooling : - Knowledge of 1 or more testing tools like Loadrunner, Neoload, Blazemeters - Knowledge of 1 or more domains like Fintech, healthcare, Manufacturing, Supply chain etc.

Strategic Test Planning: -Define test automation strategies aligned to delivery timelines and business needs. -Oversee scope and resource planning for automated testing in multiple projects.

Performance Automation Leadership: -Lead implementation of testing tools and frameworks across platforms. -Review scripts, test coverage, and maintain alignment with quality benchmarks.

Team Collaboration: -Manage coordination between QA, development, and DevOps.



-Support onboarding and capability uplift of newer team members.

Risk Management: -Identify and resolve potential risks in automation implementation. -Align with compliance and security guidelines for test data usage Domain and Certification : Must have 1 tool certification, 1 domain certification Role Overview: The Performance Manager will lead the end-to-end performance engineering and assurance efforts across Saint-Gobain’s digital landscape, including web, enterprise, and SAP-based applications. The candidate will oversee performance strategy, coordinate with global QA, Development, Business users and IT teams and ensure all applications meet established performance KPIs and user experience standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of performance engineers and mentor junior members.

- Define, implement, and monitor performance test strategies for enterprise and customer-facing applications (including SAP and other ERPs).
- Drive requirements gathering for non-functional requirements (NFRs) and SLAs in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
- Architect, design, and execute complex performance test scenarios using industry-standard tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter, Neoload, Gatling).
- Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and drive performance tuning at application, middleware, database, and infrastructure layers.




- Work with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to recommend optimizations.

- Present performance findings, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management and global QA leaders. • Ensure adoption of best practices, automation, and continuous improvement in performance engineering processes. • Support capacity planning, scalability analysis, and cloud/multi-region performance assurance (where applicable). • Track emerging technologies and drive innovation in performance engineering. Required Skills: • 10–14 years of experience in performance testing, engineering, and analysis in large-scale, enterprise environments. • Deep expertise in at least two major performance test tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, Neoload, etc.). • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including profiling and monitoring (APM tools like Dynatrace/ AppDynamics/Current Relic/ Datadog/Grafana/AWS CloudWatch etc.). • Experience with SAP performance testing and tuning is a strong plus. • Knowledge in Chaos Engineering is plus. • Solid understanding of databases, web technologies, networking concepts, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). • Proven ability to work with cross-functional, global teams and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. • Leadership skills: experience managing small to medium-sized teams or mentoring engineers. Preferred: • ISTQB or relevant performance/testing certifications. • Experience with CI/CD and performance automation. • Exposure to microservices, API performance, and service virtualizationRole & responsibilities
