Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage Galera Clusters, MariaDB Clusters, and Master-Slave Replication environments.
- Develop and execute Disaster Recovery (DR)



strategies using MariaBackup.
- Perform advanced query optimization, index tuning, and database performance analysis.
- Configure and tune MariaDB instance parameters for optimal performance.
- Handle Sev-1 Production Incidents, root cause analysis, and database troubleshooting.
- Execute database patching and major version upgrades.
- Implement high availability and routing solutions using MaxScale or HAProxy.
- Automate database administration tasks using Bash and/or Python scripting.
- Manage database infrastructure in Linux/Unix environments.
- Support database deployments on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
