Role & responsibilities

1. Manage day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning of the store.

2. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.

3. Maintain proper records of material receipts, issues, transfers, and stock balances.

4. Ensure proper storage, labeling, identification, and arrangement of materials.

5. Issue materials to departments as per approved requisitions and maintain proper documentation.

6. Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile stock with system records.

7. Monitor stock levels and inform the concerned department about shortages, excess stock, or slow-moving items.

8. Ensure proper handling and preservation of materials to avoid damage, loss, or deterioration.

9. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline within the store area and follow company procedures.

10. Coordinate with purchase, production, accounts, and other departments for timely availability and movement of materials.
