Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Water Treatment Technician with a minimum of 15+ years of relevant hands-on experience. The candidate should be capable of independently handling pumps, motors, electrical systems, VFDs, controller panels, wiring, programming, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and commissioning related to WTP, STP, ETP, Swimming Pool, HPN and Pumping systems.

Role & responsibilities

- Installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of different types of pumps and motors, including centrifugal, submersible, booster, transfer, dosing, circulation, and other pumps.
- Pump alignment, coupling, mechanical seal, bearing, impeller, and related component maintenance.
- Identify and resolve issues related to pump pressure, flow, leakage, vibration, abnormal noise, overheating, and motor performance.
- Installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems.
- Installation, wiring, parameter setting, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of VFDs.
- Programming and troubleshooting of controller panels and control systems.
- Perform complete wiring and troubleshooting of control panels, motor panels, VFD panels, starter panels, and control circuits.
- Troubleshoot contactors, relays, overloads, MCBs, MCCBs, sensors, timers, and other electrical components.
- Diagnose electrical faults related to motors, pumps, panels, VFDs,



and control systems.
- Read and understand basic electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
- Troubleshoot equipment and system-level issues and coordinate with the site supervisor for timely resolution.
- Perform testing and commissioning after installation, repair, or modification.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance, breakdowns, spare parts, and completed works.
- Follow all required safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping at project and O&M; sites.

Required Skills

- Minimum 15+ years of relevant hands-on field experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of Pumps, Motors, Electrical Systems, VFDs, and Control Panels.
- Hands-on experience with VFD programming, parameter setting, wiring, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair different types of pumps, motors, electrical panels, and control systems.
- Experience working with WTP, STP, ETP, Swimming Pool, and/or HPN systems.
- Ability to independently handle installation, repair, maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ability to read basic plumbing and electrical drawings.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field will be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to different project and O&M; sites as required.
