Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in MEP design projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical design drawings, calculations, and technical documentation for commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use developments while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare electrical designs, layouts, drawings, and schematics for building projects.
- Design power distribution systems, lighting systems, earthing, lightning protection, and ELV systems.
- Perform load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and short-circuit analysis.
- Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD), panel schedules, and equipment layouts.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Plumbing, Architecture, and Structural teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and design reports.
- Review shop drawings and vendor submittals for compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and client specifications.
- Support project teams during design reviews, site visits, and technical discussions.
- Assist in resolving design-related issues during project execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 1-3 years of experience in Electrical Design for MEP projects.
- Knowledge of electrical design standards and building services.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Experience with Revit MEP will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with electrical design calculations and software tools.
- Good understanding of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and ELV systems.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to commercial, residential, healthcare, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of local and international electrical codes and standards.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Project Engineer / MEP Coordinator with 4-6 years of experience in managing and coordinating MEP activities for commercial, residential, data center, industrial, and mixed-use building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project execution, site coordination, stakeholder management, quality control, and ensuring timely completion of MEP works in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Execution

- Coordinate and oversee Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV services at project sites.
- Monitor day-to-day MEP activities and ensure project milestones are achieved as per schedule.
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documents prior to execution.
- Ensure installation works are carried out according to approved drawings and project requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, structural teams, and clients for project execution.

Electrical Engineering Responsibilities

- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Review electrical shop drawings, load schedules, and technical submittals.
- Ensure proper execution of power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, DG, UPS, and ELV systems.
- Resolve technical issues arising during project execution.

Planning & Monitoring

- Track project progress and prepare daily, weekly,



and monthly reports.
- Coordinate material procurement and monitor site resource utilization.
- Identify project risks and propose corrective actions to maintain schedules.
- Support project planning and resource allocation activities.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and clients.
- Ensure adherence to HSE and company quality procedures.

Stakeholder Management

- Participate in project review meetings and technical discussions.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for timely delivery of materials and services.
- Maintain effective communication among all project stakeholders.
- Support project handover and closeout activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 4-6 years of experience in MEP project execution and coordination.
- Experience handling building services projects such as commercial buildings, residential towers, healthcare, hospitality, industrial facilities, or data centers.
- Solid understanding of MEP systems and site execution methodologies.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Revit MEP is an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, fire alarm systems, ELV systems, HVAC coordination, and plumbing services.
- Knowledge of project planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera is preferred.
- Good understanding of QA/QC and HSE requirements.
