Position: In-Charge – Dietetics Department

1. Department Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics Department and ensure smooth functioning of all dietary services.
2. Clinical Nutrition Care: Supervise and coordinate nutritional assessment, diet planning, and dietary counselling for inpatients and outpatients based on their clinical requirements.
3. Team Supervision: Lead, guide, and monitor dietitians and nutrition staff, ensuring proper allocation of duties and effective team performance.
4. Patient Diet Planning: Ensure appropriate therapeutic diets are planned and provided for patients with different medical conditions, in coordination with treating physicians.
5. Quality & Safety: Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, nutrition care, patient safety, and compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
6. Dietary Operations Coordination: Coordinate with the kitchen, nursing, doctors,



and other hospital departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of prescribed patient diets.
7. Documentation & Records: Ensure proper maintenance of patient diet records, nutritional assessments, diet charts, departmental reports, and other required documentation.
8. Training & Development: Conduct training and awareness sessions for dietitians, dietary staff, and other relevant hospital employees on nutrition, hygiene, therapeutic diets, and departmental procedures.
9. Audit & Performance Monitoring: Monitor departmental KPIs, patient feedback, diet-related complaints, and service quality, and implement corrective actions wherever required.
10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve clinical nutrition services, patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and overall departmental performance.
