JK Maini Global Aerospace is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Aerospace Process & Assembly Engineer. The ideal candidate will bridge technical documentation with practical shop-floor execution, ensuring all manufacturing and assembly operations comply strictly with AS9100 quality management standards and NADCAP requirements.
Role & responsibilities
- Technical Documentation: Author, review, and maintain AS9100-compliant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and optimized assembly routings.
- Assembly & Shop Floor Support: Utilize precision hand tools, specialized machine tools, and custom assembly fixtures to streamline assembly processes.
- Special Process Execution: Oversee and manage NADCAP-accredited special processes, including structural bonding, precision torqueing, and surface treatments.
- Quality & Compliance: Audit manufacturing processes regularly to ensure strict adherence to aerospace safety, quality, and customer specifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production, Quality, and Tooling teams to troubleshoot assembly bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering.
- Experience: 6-8 years of hands-on experience in aerospace or precision engineering manufacturing setups.
- Technical Expertise: Solid background in AS9100 standards, NADCAP special process requirements, and assembly fixture usage.
- Skills: Expertise in process documentation, precision tool handling, and technical drawing interpretation.
