Key Responsibilities

Operations & Delivery: Oversee daily database support, maintenance, patching, and high-availability operations (such as clustering or replication).

Architecture & Strategy: Drive structural design, capacity planning, software upgrades, and cross-platform migrations.

Security & Compliance: Enforce strict data governance, security parameters, and disaster recovery/backup plans.

Team Leadership: Mentor junior and mid-level DBAs, manage escalations, and coordinate with cross-functional IT infrastructure towers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in platforms MariaDB, Oracle, Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL

Cloud Knowledge: Experience managing cloud-hosted databases (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Soft Skills: Incident management, stakeholder communication, and vendor coordination
