We are looking for talented professionals to join our growing Data & Analytics team at Xylem. If you are passionate about building scalable data solutions, working with modern data platforms, and contributing to innovative machine learning initiatives, we would love to meet you at our walk-in drive.

Open Role:

Data Scientist Software Developer (Kedro, Python, SQL)

Experience: 2 to 4 Years

What We're Looking For:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Software Development, Data Engineering, Data Science, or related domains
- Strong programming experience in Python
- Hands-on experience working with Kedro pipelines
- Strong SQL skills, including complex query writing and data transformations
- Experience troubleshooting production issues, debugging applications, and maintaining codebases
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of business-critical solutions
- Robust analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience handling structured and semi-structured datasets




- Familiarity with software development best practices including version control, testing, documentation, and debugging

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working with Databricks
- Exposure to Power BI dashboards and business reporting
- Experience in Machine Learning or Data Science projects
- Knowledge of code optimization, scalability, and performance improvement
- Experience supporting business-facing data products and analytics solutions

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and maintain the existing lead generation engine built on Kedro pipelines
- Enhance, optimize, and support Python-based data workflows
- Troubleshoot production and data pipeline issues and implement permanent fixes
- Ensure code reliability, scalability, and maintainability
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Support and interact with Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions
- Identify opportunities for automation, performance improvement, and innovation
- Contribute to future machine learning and advanced analytics initiatives
