Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced VoIP Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, integrating, and troubleshooting VoIP and real-time communication solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SIP, RTP, VoIP protocols, FreeSWITCH/Asterisk, Linux, and VoIP application development.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and maintain VoIP and real-time communication solutions.
- Develop and integrate SIP-based applications, call flows, IVR, dial plans, and call routing.
- Work extensively with FreeSWITCH and/or Asterisk for VoIP application development and deployment.
- Develop and maintain SIP, RTP, WebRTC, and VoIP integrations with third-party platforms and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to call quality, SIP signaling, RTP/media flow, registration, routing, and connectivity.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and communication interfaces with VoIP platforms.
- Work with Kamailio/OpenSIPS for SIP proxy, routing, load balancing, and high-availability solutions.
- Analyze SIP traces, call logs, network traffic, and system logs to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Optimize VoIP platforms for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, DevOps, QA, and Product teams.
- Participate in production deployments, incident resolution, and performance monitoring.
- Prepare technical documentation for configurations, integrations, troubleshooting procedures, and solutions.





Required Technical Skills

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in VoIP development.
- Solid understanding of SIP, RTP, SDP, TCP/IP, UDP, and VoIP protocols.
- Hands-on experience with FreeSWITCH and/or Asterisk.
- Good knowledge of SIP call flows, dial plans, IVR, DID, call routing, and call handling.
- Experience with Kamailio/OpenSIPS is preferred.
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C/C++, Python, Java, or JavaScript/Node.js.
- Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Knowledge of WebRTC and real-time communication technologies is an advantage.
- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB or other databases.
- Good understanding of DNS, NAT, firewalls, load balancing, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, sngrep, tcpdump, SIPp, and Linux troubleshooting utilities.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working with SBCs (Session Border Controllers).
- Knowledge of WebRTC, TURN/STUN, ICE, and media servers.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of VoIP security, TLS, SRTP, authentication, and encryption.
- Experience in building high-availability and scalable telecom platforms.
- Exposure to CCaaS, Contact Center, CPaaS, or telecom platforms.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related technical discipline.
