We are looking for a creative and experienced Video Editor to join our team in Kolkata . The ideal candidate should have solid experience in video editing, preferably gained from a media house, news channel, digital media company, or similar fast-paced environment.

The candidate should also have a good understanding of AI-powered video editing and content creation tools and be comfortable incorporating new technologies into the editing workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit video content for news, digital platforms, social media, and other media formats.
- Create engaging and high-quality videos while maintaining editorial and visual standards.
- Work with raw footage, graphics, audio, voiceovers, and other media assets.
- Edit videos efficiently under tight deadlines, particularly in a news/media environment.
- Use AI-powered editing and content creation tools to improve productivity and workflow.
- Collaborate with journalists, producers, content teams, and creative teams.
- Ensure videos are properly formatted and optimized for different digital platforms.





Required Skills & Experience

- Prior experience working with a media house, news channel, digital news platform, or production house is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of professional video editing software such as: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro.
- Good knowledge of AI video editing and AI content creation tools.
- Strong understanding of video editing, transitions, audio, colour correction, graphics, and storytelling.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good attention to detail and a strong sense of visual storytelling.

Experience: Relevant experience in media houses, news channels, or digital media organizations will be highly preferred.

Salary: As per the candidate's last drawn salary and will be based on experience, skills, and performance in the interview.
