Job Overview -

We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern to join our content/marketing team. You’ll work on creating short-form and long-form video content across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms.

The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of video editing, storytelling, emotions, pacing, and visual communication. You should have a strong eye for design, a creative mindset, and the ability to understand the message and objective of a video before starting the edit.

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just edit what they’re given, but can also bring ideas, references, and creative inputs to make the content better.

Key Responsibilities :-

- Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms
- Apply basic principles of storytelling, pacing, emotion, and audience retention
- Understand the message and objective of each video before beginning the edit
- Add text animations, transitions, captions, and other visual elements
- Contribute creative ideas, references, and editing approaches to improve the content
- Work with the content/marketing team to align videos with the intended message and brand
- Develop an understanding of how editing, visuals, music, sound, and pacing influence the viewer's experience
- Maintain a solid sense of visual composition, typography, and overall design
- Organize and maintain raw footage, project files,



and other assets
- Manage multiple projects and work within deadlines
- Stay updated with current video formats, trends, and editing styles
- Take feedback constructively and make revisions accordingly

Requirements

- Basic understanding of video editing and editing principles
- Basic understanding of storytelling, pacing, emotions, and audience retention
- Basic working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Understanding of basic text animation and visual design
- Strong eye for design and visual aesthetics
- Creative mindset with the ability to think beyond the given brief
- Ability to understand the purpose and message of content before editing
- Willingness to learn, experiment, and improve
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- Prior experience through internships, freelance work, personal projects, or professional editing is preferred
- Portfolio/showreel is mandatory

Preferred Skills

- Basic motion graphics knowledge
- Familiarity with social media video formats
- Basic understanding of sound design and color correction
- Awareness of current short-form content and editing trends
