Feline Media is a digital media company led by YouTuber Sarthak Goswami, creating research-driven and engaging content for YouTube and social media platforms.

About the Role

We are looking for a Video Editor who can handle both long-form and short-form video content for Sarthak Goswami's YouTube channel and social media platforms.

The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, a good understanding of storytelling and pacing, and the ability to turn raw footage into engaging, polished content.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit long-form YouTube videos, including research-driven videos, commentary, interviews, and other digital content.
- Edit short-form content such as YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and promotional clips.
- Create engaging edits with strong pacing, storytelling, transitions, B-roll, graphics, and sound design.
- Work with raw footage, voiceovers, interviews, archival footage, and other visual assets.
- Add text, subtitles, motion graphics, effects, and visual elements wherever required.
- Ensure videos maintain Sarthak's content style, tone, and storytelling approach.
- Collaborate with the writers, researchers, producers, and content team to understand the video's objective.
- Manage multiple edits and deliver projects within deadlines.




- Review and incorporate feedback to produce the final version.

Requirements
- 1–4 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong experience in both long-form and short-form editing.
- Prior experience editing YouTube content is preferred.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, visual composition, and audience retention.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of sound design, subtitles, color correction, B-roll, and basic motion graphics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced digital media environment.
- A strong portfolio/showreel is required.

Preferred
- Experience working with YouTubers, creators, media companies, or digital content teams.
- Experience editing documentary, news, commentary, podcast, or research-driven content.
- Understanding of YouTube audience retention and digital content trends.
