About the Role

SHEMFORD Futuristic School is hiring a Video Editor, Motion Graphics & Graphic Design Professional with solid hands-on experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, AI-powered creative tools, and print design .

This is not only a video editing role. Since we also work extensively on publishing and printing books, educational material, brochures, worksheets, and other print collateral , the candidate must be comfortable working across both digital media and print publishing .

Strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop is essential . We are looking for someone who understands not just design, but also page layouts, typography, image correction, print-ready artwork, book formatting, and production requirements for printed material .

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, digital campaigns, and other platforms.
- Create professional edits using Adobe Premiere Pro , including sequencing, pacing, colour correction, audio balancing, transitions, subtitles, and sound design.
- Create motion graphics, animated titles, transitions, visual effects, and branded animations using Adobe After Effects .
- Design and format books, educational publications, brochures,



worksheets, catalogues, and print collateral using Adobe InDesign .
- Use Adobe Photoshop extensively for image editing, retouching, colour correction, compositing, background removal, image enhancement, and preparing visual assets for both print and digital use.
- Prepare print-ready files with correct margins, bleed, crop marks, colour settings, image resolution, and production specifications.
- Work with typography, grid systems, page hierarchy, master pages, paragraph styles, and consistent book layouts.
- Coordinate visual elements across multiple pages and publications to maintain a consistent and professional design language.
- Create thumbnails, social media creatives, posters, banners, advertisements, presentation visuals, and other graphic assets .
- Use AI-powered video, image, design, transcription, captioning, ideation, and content-generation tools as part of the creative workflow.
- Explore new Generative AI and AI-assisted creative tools that can improve production speed and creative output.
- Adapt videos and graphics into different formats and aspect ratios for Reels, Shorts, Stories, YouTube, ads, print, and digital campaigns .




- Collaborate with the marketing, content, academic, publishing, and creative teams to convert briefs and ideas into finished content.
- Maintain consistency with the SHEMFORD brand identity across video, digital, publishing, and print materials.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Candidates should have

- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro & AI video Generation
- Strong hands-on expertise in Adobe After Effects
- Strong expertise in Adobe InDesign — mandatory
- Strong expertise in Adobe Photoshop — mandatory
- Experience in book design, page layout, educational publishing, print design, or publication design
- Understanding of print production and print-ready artwork preparation
- Knowledge of CMYK, RGB, bleed, margins, crop marks, image resolution, typography, and page composition
- Professional experience editing Reels, Shorts, YouTube videos, social media videos, promotional content, or branded content
- Working knowledge of AI tools for video editing, image generation, content creation, design, or creative production
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles , including typography, composition, hierarchy, colour, and visual consistency
- Ability to create thumbnails, social media creatives, posters, banners, and supporting graphics
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, music, sound, layout, and audience attenti
