Role Description The Video Editor role at Chili Factor is a full-time remote position focused on producing high-quality video content for advertising and marketing campaigns. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing raw footage into polished videos, adding transitions, audio, and visual effects, and ensuring smooth storytelling aligned with client briefs and brand guidelines.
The Video
Editor will collaborate with creative directors, copywriters, and designers to refine concepts, maintain consistency across assets, and deliver projects within deadlines. The role also involves basic color correction,
organizing media assets, exporting content for various platforms, and staying updated on current trends and best practices in digital video.
Salary
25,000 - 30,000 per month
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain a consistent look and feel.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics to support storytelling and brand messaging.
- Graphics skills to design or adapt visual elements that complement video content.
- Experience with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software).
- Attention to detail, robust sense of timing and pacing, and ability to work with feedback from multiple stakeholders.
- Good communication skills, ability to work independently in a remote setup, and strong time management to handle multiple projects.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial; a portfolio demonstrating video work is required.
