Position: Head of Operations / Vice President Operations

Role Overview The Head of Operations will be responsible for driving end-to-end operational excellence across the organization. The individual will lead procurement, production, supply chain, planning, quality, logistics, process improvement, and cross-functional execution while building a high-performance leadership team capable of supporting the company's long-term growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Leadership

- Own end-to-end operational performance across all manufacturing and operational functions.
- Develop scalable systems, SOPs, and governance structures.
- Drive operational efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost optimization initiatives.

1. Manufacturing & Production

- Oversee production planning and execution across facilities.
- Improve throughput, capacity utilization, quality metrics, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Establish robust performance measurement frameworks.

1. Procurement & Supply Chain

- Lead strategic sourcing and vendor management.
- Build resilient supply chains and optimize procurement costs.
- Strengthen inventory management and working capital efficiency.

1. Team Building & Leadership

- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing operational teams.
- Create accountability frameworks and leadership pipelines.
- Drive a culture of ownership, execution excellence, and continuous improvement.

1. Multi-City Operations Management

- Coordinate and align teams across Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore.




- Ensure seamless communication and execution across locations.
- Standardize processes while maintaining agility and responsiveness.

1. Process Excellence & Technology

- Lead digitization, ERP optimization, automation, and operational analytics initiatives.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement best-in-class operational practices.
- Develop KPI dashboards and review mechanisms.

1. Strategic Execution

- Work closely with founders and leadership to execute business objectives.
- Translate growth plans into operational capabilities.
- Build the operational foundation required for long-term scale.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Education: Engineering degree mandatory
- MBA preferred from a reputed institution (IIMs, ISB, SPJIMR, XLRI, JBIMS, NMIMS, NITIE/IIM Mumbai, or equivalent)

Experience:

- Minimum 10 years overall experience
- At least 7 to 9 years in manufacturing leadership roles
- Proven experience managing end-to-end operations at scale
- Industry Preference: Building materials, manufacturing, industrial products, engineered products, interiors, construction materials, modular systems, or adjacent sectors.
