Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Vehicle Dismantler to join our floor operations team at the Virat Scrappers RVSF facility. The role involves the secure, systematic dismantling of end-of-life 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, and 4-wheelers, in accordance with Company SOPs and statutory environmental and safety guidelines, along with proper segregation and handling of parts and hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out safe and systematic dismantling of end-of-life vehicles (2/3/4-wheelers) using appropriate tools and techniques, in accordance with Company SOPs.
- Identify, remove, and segregate reusable/salvageable parts (engine components, batteries, tyres, glass, plastics, metals, etc.) with minimal damage.
- Safely handle and segregate hazardous materials (fuel, oil, battery acid, airbags, refrigerants, etc.) as per environmental and safety norms.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and dismantling equipment (cutters, wrenches, lifting equipment, etc.) safely and correctly.
- Support photographic/video documentation of vehicles at intake, during dismantling, and post-dismantling, where required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dismantling floor/work area at all times.
- Use prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times during dismantling operations.
- Follow assigned daily/monthly dismantling targets and report progress to the Floor Supervisor.
- Assist with loading, unloading,



and yard movement of vehicles and dismantled parts/scrap as required.
- Report any equipment malfunction, safety hazard, or irregularity to the supervisor immediately.
- Undertake any other reasonable task assigned by the reporting manager in connection with floor operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Minimum qualification: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate in a relevant trade (Mechanic/Automobile/Fitter or equivalent) preferred; 10th/12th pass with relevant hands-on experience also considered.
- Prior hands-on experience in vehicle dismantling, automobile repair/servicing, or a similar mechanical trade is preferred but not mandatory for trainable candidates.
- Basic working knowledge of 2/3/4-wheeler vehicle components and mechanical systems.
- Comfortable with outdoor, physically demanding floor/field work, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Minimum age: 18 years (statutory requirement for this role).
- Willingness to work in a team-based floor environment and follow safety protocols strictly.

Working Conditions

- This is a field/floor-based role involving outdoor work at the RVSF yard in varying weather conditions.
- Use of PPE (gloves, safety shoes, goggles, etc.) is mandatory at all times.
- The role involves exposure to mechanical tools, vehicle fluids, and dismantling machinery; safety training will be provided.

Compensation & Benefits Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience and skill level, as discussed during the interview, and will be communicated by HR along with the formal offer of employment. Statutory benefits (PF/ESI, as applicable) will apply as per law.
