The DLP Systems Validation team is looking for a highly skilled Validation Engineer to join our team. This role sits at the intersection of physical hardware and intelligent software, requiring a candidate who is equally comfortable with a probe in hand and a Python IDE. You will be responsible for the end-to-end validation of complex systems, ensuring that both the underlying hardware architecture and the high-level software/AI algorithms perform harmoniously.
In this role the candidate will be exposed to wide range of DLP products, end user applications and its complexities to develop test capabilities, debug and resolve system level issues prior to releasing products leading to successful customer launch. Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field of study
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience
- Broad system level knowledge,
video/imaging operations and industry standard video and hardware interfaces.
- Software/Test development with Python
- Knowledge of lab equipment (signal generators, analyzers, scopes etc.)
- Experience in complex systems with extensive embedded software, PC applications and electrical interfaces.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated solid team member in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with limited supervision.
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to utilize Python-based AI frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or NumPy) to analyze test data or facilitate model-based validation.
- Experience validating AI/ML models deployed on edge hardware, ensuring accuracy and performance within constrained hardware environments.
- Experience with schematic capture, board design, and PCB layout
