Role Description The US Accounting Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. In this role, the professional will handle day-to-day US accounting activities such as posting journal entries, maintaining ledgers, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements in accordance with US accounting standards.

Responsibilities may include assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, supporting audits, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax and regulatory requirements.



The role also involves collaborating with internal teams and US-based clients, preparing accurate reports, and maintaining up-to-date documentation of financial transactions.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, US GAAP, and financial reporting practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel, including use of formulas, spreadsheets, and financial analysis tools.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with US-based clients and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage deadlines, multitask, and work efficiently in an office-based, full time environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CPA, CA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in US accounting, outsourcing, or shared services environments is preferred.
