Job Summary

Typist is responsible for accurately typing, formatting, checking, and processing diagnostic reports such as X-Ray, CT, MRI, and USG reports as instructed by the reporting doctor/radiologist.

Key Responsibilities

- Type and prepare X-Ray, CT, MRI, and USG reports accurately.
- Enter patient details correctly, including Patient ID, Name, Age, Gender, and Investigation details.
- Type reports from doctor/radiologist dictation or tele-reporting instructions.
- Check reports for spelling, grammar, formatting, and typing errors.
- Ensure the correct report is attached to the correct patient.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical reports.
- Coordinate with radiologists, technicians, reception, and other departments for report-related requirements.
- Make corrections in reports as instructed by the reporting doctor.
- Ensure reports are completed and delivered within the required turnaround time (TAT).
- Maintain proper records of completed, pending, and corrected reports.
- Handle report printing, scanning, uploading,



and filing when required.
- Follow hospital/diagnostic centre procedures and maintain professional conduct.

Required Skills

- Valuable English typing speed and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of MS Word and computer applications
- Good spelling and grammar
- Ability to understand medical terminology
- Attention to detail
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Maintain patient confidentiality

Qualification & Experience Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma

Experience: 0–2 years in hospital, diagnostic centre, medical transcription, or report typing preferred.

Working Shift: Day / Night Shift as per department requirement.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
