NTransition Manager – Applications, SAP & Platform Services

NTravel Requirement: Willingness to travel across India and overseas based on project and client requirements. Ability to work in customer time zones when required.

NRole Overview: We are seeking an experienced Transition Manager with strong exposure to Applications, SAP, and Platform Services transitions. The role will be part of the Service Transition Center of Excellence (CoE) and will support pre-sales solutioning as well as end-to-end transition execution for small to medium-sized deals (<

USD 2M Annual Contract Value).

NKey Responsibilities:

- Develop transition solutions and approaches during RFP and pre-sales stages.
N
- Prepare transition plans, governance models, deliverables, timelines, and gating criteria.
N
- Lead service transitions involving Applications, SAP, and Platform support services.
N
- Support deal shaping discussions and participate in customer presentations.
N
- Coordinate knowledge transfer, shadow/reverse shadow, and go-live readiness activities.
N
- Develop and maintain transition RAID logs, status reports, dashboards,



and governance documentation.
N
- Work closely with delivery, quality, security, and project stakeholders.
N
- Align transition execution with organizational quality and compliance standards.
N
- Support Service QualityAssurance (SQA) reviews, audits, and compliance activities.
N
- Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies during transitions.
N

nRequired Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding of Application Support, SAP landscapes, and Platform Services.
N
- Experience in IT service transition methodologies and governance.
N
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
N
- Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation capabilities.
N
- Good understanding of ITIL processes, SLAs, KPIs, and service governance.
N
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced setting.
N
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
N
- Domain knowledge, e.G. BFSI, Healthcare, or enterprise application support transitions, is preferred.
N

nPreferred Qualifications & Certifications

- Bachelor's degreein engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
N
- ITIL / PMP / Prince2 / Agile certifications are good to have.
N
- Experience with ITSM and project management tools preferred.
