Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Trade Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end trade operations process and ensure accurate, timely, and efficient processing of trading activities. The role will work closely with Trading, RMS, Technology, Finance, Brokers, and Exchanges.

Responsibilities

- Monitor operational risks and ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable market requirements.
- Lead and mentor the RMS and Trade Analyst team and ensure effective allocation of responsibilities.
- Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle across equities, futures, and options.
- Oversee trade capture, confirmation, reconciliation, settlement, and exception management.
- Monitor daily trades, positions, P&L;, margins, and settlement obligations.
- Identify and resolve trade breaks, mismatches, failed settlements, and operational exceptions.
- Coordinate with exchanges, clearing members, banks, and internal teams for trade-related issues.
- Ensure timely completion of daily operational and settlement activities.
- Establish and maintain strong operational controls and processes.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and management-level operational reports.




- Work with Technology teams to improve trade-processing systems and automate manual processes.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- 6+ years of experience in Trade Operations, Capital Markets Operations, Brokerage, Investment Banking, or a related financial-services function.
- Strong understanding of equities, futures, options, trade lifecycle, reconciliation, and settlement processes.
- Experience in the MCX market is an added advantage.
- Experience working with brokers, exchanges, clearing corporations, and custodians.
- Positive knowledge of operational controls, risk management, and exception handling.
- Strong Excel skills; knowledge of SQL/Python and automation is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams and work effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA/CFA/FRM is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in a proprietary trading firm, HFT firm, hedge fund, brokerage, exchange, or financial technology company.
- Exposure to automated/systematic trading environments.
- Experience implementing operational automation and process improvements.
