About The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our backend development team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable services and APIs that power key product features. You will work closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA to deliver high-quality, maintainable software.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, REST APIs, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Implement clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.

Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.





2+ years of backend development experience.

Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, or a similar language.

Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORMs.

Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP preferred).

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Knowledge of caching technologies like Redis or Memcached.

Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus or Grafana.

Prior experience in high-scale transactional systems.
