Test Engineer – Healthcare / AI Testing

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in software testing, preferably within the Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharma, or Medical Technology domain.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in functional and integration testing , with a strong preference for candidates who have worked on AI-based applications, AI testing, pharmacovigilance (PV), or medical safety systems .

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of applications that support healthcare and life-sciences business processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing .
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, product teams, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Validate application workflows, business rules, data integrity, and system integrations.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting.
- Analyze requirements and identify potential gaps, risks, and edge cases.
- Support release validation and production readiness activities.
- Maintain appropriate test documentation and quality metrics.
- Where applicable, test AI/ML-driven features , including validation of AI-generated outputs, accuracy, consistency, edge cases, and potential failure scenarios.

Preferred Domain Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be strongly preferred:

- Healthcare / Life Sciences




- Pharmaceutical domain
- Pharmacovigilance (Drug Safety / Medical Safety)
- Clinical or medical applications
- Healthcare data and workflows
- Medical information systems
- AI/ML-based healthcare applications

Preferred AI Testing Experience Experience testing AI-powered applications or features will be a major advantage.

Exposure to areas such as:

- AI/ML application testing
- Generative AI testing
- AI response validation
- Prompt and output testing
- Data validation
- Accuracy and consistency testing
- Edge-case and negative testing
- Hallucination/error identification
- AI model output evaluation

Required Skills

- 4–6 years of experience in software testing / QA.
- Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC .
- Hands-on experience in manual testing and test case design.
- Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Solid defect identification, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to work in UK / Europe / Spain-aligned shifts .

Good to Have

- Healthcare or Pharma domain experience.
- Pharmacovigilance / Drug Safety experience.
- AI/ML testing experience.
- API testing experience.
- SQL/database testing experience.
- Automation testing exposure.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Postman, Selenium, or similar QA tools.
