Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Test Automation Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Web Automation using Playwright and TypeScript. The candidate will work closely with clients, developers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Create and maintain reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
- Perform API testing and develop automated API validation suites.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and clients to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, defect triage, and release activities.
- Track and report defects using standard defect management tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to improve test design, automation development, defect analysis, and productivity.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new testing tools, technologies,



and project requirements.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA processes.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Experience in web application test automation and framework maintenance.
- API Testing using Postman, REST APIs, JSON, and API automation concepts.
- Basic SQL and database validation skills.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and source control practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or Azure DevOps.

Good to Have Skills

- Mobile application testing and automation using Appium.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools and modern Quality Engineering practices.
