We are looking for an experienced Senior Teradata Administrator with robust hands-on expertise in Teradata Administration, VantageCloud, database performance tuning, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and administer enterprise Teradata databases and VantageCloud environments.

Perform advanced Teradata performance tuning and optimization.

Analyze and resolve complex production performance issues.

Monitor system health, CPU, I/O, spool usage, workload performance, and data distribution.

Troubleshoot issues related to skew, locking, joins, statistics, indexing, partitioning,



and workload management.

Perform SQL analysis and optimization using EXPLAIN plans and DBQL.

Analyze ResUsage data for system and workload performance.

Support database monitoring, capacity planning, performance management, and production operations.

Work with application and engineering teams to identify and resolve database-related performance bottlenecks.

Provide technical guidance and act as a Teradata SME for complex issues.

Support incident management, root-cause analysis, and continuous performance improvements.
