We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Telecaller – Admissions & Student Counselling to connect with prospective students and parents, explain our programs, generate interest, and support the admissions process.

Job Summary The candidate will be responsible for handling student and parent enquiries, making outbound calls to prospective students, explaining courses and programs, following up with leads, scheduling counselling sessions, and assisting the admissions team in converting genuine enquiries into enrolments.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents from the provided lead database.
- Handle inbound enquiries professionally and provide accurate information about the Academy's courses and programs.
- Understand students' academic background, requirements, interests, and career goals.
- Explain course structure, batch details, admission process, fees, facilities, and other relevant information.
- Follow up regularly with interested and undecided students.
- Schedule counselling sessions, campus visits, demo classes, and appointments where required.
- Coordinate with the Counselling, Admissions, Academic, and Marketing teams.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, lead status, follow-ups, and conversions in Excel/CRM.
- Handle basic objections and queries professionally and escalate complex queries to the appropriate team.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents through professional communication.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all assigned leads.
- Achieve assigned daily, weekly,



and monthly performance and admission targets.
- Submit regular call and follow-up reports to the reporting manager.

Required Skills

- Strong listening and follow-up abilities.
- Ability to communicate clearly with students and parents.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Excel, WhatsApp, and CRM systems.
- Ability to handle multiple leads and follow-ups systematically.
- Patience and a student-friendly attitude.
- Good problem-solving and objection-handling skills.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred.
- Candidates with strong communication skills and relevant telecalling experience may also be considered.
- Freshers with positive communication skills are welcome to apply.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will have an advantage:
- Education / EdTech
- Admission counselling
- Telecalling
- Inside sales
- Student counselling
- Customer service
- Sales and lead generation

Language Skills
- Good communication in English and Telugu and Hindi is preferred.
- Knowledge of Hindi will be an added advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Performance will be evaluated based on:
- Lead response and follow-up efficiency
- Quality and number of calls handled
- Lead qualification
- Counselling appointments / campus visits generated
- Lead-to-admission conversion
- Follow-up consistency
- Accuracy of CRM/Excel records
- Achievement of assigned admission targets
