Role & responsibilities

- Manage and support Google Cloud database services including Cloud SQL, Spanner, Bigtable, Memorystore, Redis, and Datastream.

- Perform database installation, configuration, performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.

- Implement and maintain replication, schema design, query optimization, and database security controls.

- Monitor, maintain, and upgrade cloud database environments to ensure high availability and security.

- Provision, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure resources such as servers, storage, and networks.

- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve database, system, and network-related issues.

- Provide technical support and consultation to internal and external customers.





- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and incident resolutions.

- Ensure compliance with SLAs, operational standards, and quality benchmarks.

- Participate in 24x7 rotational shift support and assist with critical customer escalations.

Preferred candidate profile A proactive cloud database skilled with strong GCP database administration experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, customer-centric mindset, and the ability to support mission-critical environments in a fast-paced operational setup
