Position: Technical Commercial Head – Textile Chemicals Distribution

Location: Delhi

Regional Coverage: Nagpur and other regional markets

Industry: Textile Chemicals – Distribution

Experience: Minimum 7 years in the textile chemical industry

Reporting To: Management / Directors

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Commercial Head to lead and grow the textile chemicals distribution business across Delhi and the Nagpur region.

The role is senior, client-facing and commercially focused, requiring a combination of technical knowledge of textile chemicals, sales/business development, customer relationship management and supplier coordination.

The candidate will work closely with textile customers, textile mills/processors and principal suppliers and will report directly to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and grow the textile chemicals distribution business across Delhi and Nagpur.
- Act as the primary liaison between the company, key customers and principal suppliers.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with textile mills, processors and clients.
- Coordinate with suppliers/principals regarding:

- Product availability

- Pricing

- Technical support

- New product introductions
- Provide technical guidance to customers on product applications, troubleshooting and process optimization.




- Achieve sales targets and identify new business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Handle commercial negotiations, pricing strategy and contract terms.
- Ensure timely collections, order execution and after-sales support.
- Report business performance, market feedback and strategic recommendations directly to management.
- Travel periodically to Nagpur and other regional markets as required.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the textile chemical industry.
- Experience in distribution, sales or technical service is preferred.
- Strong customer and supplier relationship-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage and take ownership of a territory/business unit.
- Robust communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel within Delhi and to the Nagpur region.
- Technical background in Textile, Textile Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- Self-driven, target-oriented and comfortable working directly with senior management.

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in:

- Textile Technology

- Textile Chemistry

- Chemical Engineering
- MBA or additional commercial/business qualification will be an added advantage.
- Technical qualification is preferred but not mandatory
