Role - Compliance Testing

Location - Thane

Looking for full time CA with 4+ year experience in compliance testing role.

Job Purpose:

To execute risk-based compliance testing across business functions and products to assess adherence to applicable RBI regulations, internal policies, SOPs and regulatory guidelines. The role is responsible for identifying compliance gaps, reporting observations, tracking remediation, and supporting a robust compliance culture across the organization.

Key Result Areas Supporting Actions Responsibilities:

Testing Execution

Execute risk-based compliance testing as per the approved Compliance Testing Plan.

Prepare testing scope, test procedures and sampling methodology.

Review processes, system controls and documentation against regulatory requirements.

Validate compliance through testing of samples and supporting evidence.

Observation Reporting & Documentation

Prepare clear, evidence-based compliance observations.

Perform root cause analysis and assess regulatory impact.

Draft testing reports with practical recommendations.

Maintain complete testing workpapers and documentation.





Corrective Action Tracking

Track Action Taken Reports (ATR) for all compliance observations.

Validate closure evidence submitted by business teams.

Escalate overdue or ineffective remediation to management.

Maintain compliance issue tracker and MIS.

Stakeholder Coordination and Compliance Support

Liaising with business, risk, audit and other internal teams on compliance matters; providing guidance on regulatory requirements; tracking and following up on compliance deliverables across functions; supporting inspections, audits and compliance reviews.

Regulatory Compliance Management

Monitoring regulatory updates on the RBI/ IRDAI/ SEBI websites and assessing applicability; supporting implementation of RBI and other regulatory requirements; maintaining compliance trackers and ensuring timely closure of action items; assisting in compliance risk assessment for new/existing processes.

Special Projects/Assignments

Deliver on the specific task as may be guided by the CCO from time to time.
