Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Team Leader – Healthcare Recruitment to lead a recruitment team responsible for hiring Doctors, Faculty, Consultants, and Medical Professionals for medical colleges and hospitals.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the recruitment team, developing sourcing strategies, coordinating with candidates and medical institutions, and ensuring timely closure of healthcare manpower requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of healthcare recruiters.
- Handle end-to-end recruitment of Doctors and Medical Faculty for medical colleges and hospitals.
- Recruit candidates across various departments and specialties, including:
- Professors
- Associate Professors
- Assistant Professors
- Senior Residents
- Junior Residents
- Consultants
- Specialists and Super Specialists
- Develop effective sourcing strategies through job portals, professional networks, databases, references, consultants, and direct sourcing.
- Allocate recruitment requirements among team members and monitor daily performance.
- Set recruitment targets and ensure timely achievement of hiring goals.
- Screen candidate profiles and conduct initial discussions regarding experience, qualifications, availability, and compensation.
- Coordinate with candidates throughout the recruitment and joining process.
- Maintain and regularly update the candidate database and recruitment tracker.
- Coordinate with HR and management teams regarding manpower requirements and recruitment status.
- Ensure proper verification of medical qualifications, experience, registration, and relevant documents as required.
- Build and maintain a solid pipeline of doctors and healthcare professionals.
- Handle candidate negotiations regarding salary, joining date, notice period,



and other employment terms.
- Prepare daily/weekly recruitment reports and provide updates to management.
- Identify recruitment challenges and implement solutions to improve hiring efficiency.
- Train, guide, and motivate recruiters to achieve individual and team targets.
- Maintain good relationships with candidates, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure a smooth candidate experience from sourcing to joining.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Healthcare/Medical Recruitment.
- Experience in recruiting doctors and medical faculty is highly preferred.
- Excellent team-handling and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Good understanding of medical college and hospital staffing requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong follow-up and candidate relationship management skills.
- Good knowledge of recruitment portals, LinkedIn, databases, and sourcing techniques.
- Target-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and recruitment tracking systems.

Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

A postgraduate qualification in HR/MBA will be an added advantage.

- Quality and relevance of candidate profiles.
