nWeare looking for a Team Lead – Sr. Backend Developer who is both a strong backend engineer and an effective team leader.

NIn this role, you will beresponsible for leading the backend development team, guiding technical decisions, reviewing code, solving complex technical challenges, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and with high quality.

NThe ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Node.Js, Express.Js, MongoDB, REST APIs, and microservices, along with the ability to mentor developers, manage tasks, collaborate with other teams, and take ownership of backend architecture and delivery.

- Lead, mentor, andsupport a team of backend developers.

- Assign tasks based on team members' skills, experience, and project priorities.

- Guide developers in solving technical challenges and improving their coding practices.

- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.

nBackend Development & Architecture

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications.
N
- Work hands-on with Node.Js, Express.Js, MongoDB, REST APIs, and microservices.
N
- Make appropriate technical decisions related to backend architecture and system design.
N
- Ensure applications aresecure, reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
N
- Identify and resolve performance, database, and application-level issues.
N
- Review and improve existing backend architecture and technical processes.
N

nProject & DeliveryOwnership

- Understand business and technical requirements and convert them into actionable development tasks.
N
- Plan, prioritize, and track backend development activities.
N
- Ensure projects and features are delivered within agreed timelines.
N
- Identify technical risks early and take appropriate action to resolve them.
N
- Coordinate with Frontend, QA, DevOps, Product, and other teams to ensure smooth project execution.

- Take responsibility forbackend deliverables from development through deployment and production support.

nSecurity, Performance & Integration

- Implement secure authentication and authorization using technologies such as JWT, OAuth, and RBAC.
N
- Optimize database queries, APIs, and overall application performance.
N
- Work with Redis and caching mechanisms where required.
N
- Develop and manage third-party API and service integrations.
N
- Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
N
- Follow best practices for security, logging, error handling, and application reliability.

nRequired Skills

- 6–10+ years of experience in backend development.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Node.Js and Express.Js.
N
- Excellent experience with MongoDB, database design, queries, and optimization.

- Strong understanding ofREST APIs and Microservices Architecture.
N
- Knowledge of JWT, OAuth, RBAC, and backend security.
N
- Experience with Redis, Git, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Strong understanding ofdebugging, performance optimization,



and scalable application development.

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

nBachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
