About the Role: "We are looking for a highly analytical, team-oriented, and results-driven Supply Chain Planning & Strategic Operations to lead our end-to-end supply chain transformation. This role sits at the intersection of global demand-supply balancing, strategic sourcing, and digital supply chain innovation.

The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP;), optimize multi-million dollar direct material/CAPEX spend portfolios, and orchestrate agile distribution networks (DRP) to ensure exceptional service levels. You will act as a core business driver leveraging advanced predictive analytics, enterprise platforms, and lean frameworks to eliminate structural inefficiencies."

Key Responsibilities:

- Integrated Business Planning & S&OP;: Lead consensus Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) and demand forecasting cycles across multi-plant environments to align commercial forecasts with plant capacities.
- Inventory Optimization: Monitor and improve key performance indicators including Case Fill Rate (CFR), On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery, and Days of Cover (DOC). Manage safety stocks and Slow-Moving/Obsolete (SLOB) inventory liquidation frameworks.
- Strategic Sourcing & Category Operations: Oversee an annual direct material and CAPEX sourcing spend portfolio valued up to USD 50M-60M. Lead contract negotiations, Annual Rate Contracts (ARCs), and Maintenance Commitments (AMCs) with global suppliers (Americas, APAC, EMEA).
- Network Logistics & DRP: Refine node-level Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) configurations, focusing on Full Truck Load (FTL) thresholds, mode-mix optimization, and shipment consolidation.




- Digital Transformation: Act as the business system owner/SPOC for advanced planning software and business intelligence implementation. Build and scale data-driven Power BI or Tableau dashboards to automate reporting.
- Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement across the department by anchoring 5S audits, Kaizen loops, Lean Six Sigma workflows, and strict quality compliance.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Computer Science). A Masters degree (MBA/PGDM) specializing in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Project Management is highly preferred.
- Experience: 8–12 years of core experience in manufacturing, FMCG, retail supply networks, aerospace, or automotive/heavy engineering sectors.
- ERP & Sourcing Stack (Mandatory proficiency in one or more):
- ERP modules: SAP MM, SAP PP, SAP SD, SAP ECC, or SAP Hana.
- Sourcing/Planning Suites: SAP Ariba, o9 Planning Suite, SAP APO, Palantir Foundry, OMP Planning Software, or Infor M3.
- Analytics: Advanced MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.

- Certifications (Preferred): Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, IATF 16949 / ISO Quality Auditor, or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) credential.
- Key Competencies: High analytical acumen, strong negotiation and cross-functional communication skills, and data-driven problem-solving mindset.
