Key Responsibilities
· Procurement & Vendor Management o Source components and materials for AI, IoT, and automation systems o Identify and onboard reliable vendors (domestic and international)
o Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms o Issue and track Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain vendor performance records o Align procurement schedules with project timelines and production cycles o Evaluate landed cost, bulk pricing, and warranty coverage
· Import & Off-Site Procurement o Coordinate with overseas suppliers for specialized component imports o Handle customs documentation, freight forwarding, and clearance processes o Manage procurement for remote projects and installations o Liaise with third-party logistics providers and warehouse partners o Manage HS codes, incoterms, and customs clearance for technical components
· Inventory & Store Management o Oversee accurate stock records using digital inventory systems o Implement stock control procedures and conduct periodic audits o Ensure safe storage and handling of sensitive and high-value items o Forecast material requirements with engineering and R&D; teams
· Logistics & Dispatch o Oversee inbound logistics, courier, and freight coordination o Prepare and track delivery challans, e-way bills, and other statutory documents o Ensure timely dispatch and maintain proof of delivery records o Optimize transport routes for cost and efficiency o Proactively follow up with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve bottlenecks
· Technical Understanding o Interpret technical drawings and specifications for accurate procurement o Collaborate with tech teams to ensure sourcing meets project needs o Stay updated on emerging technologies and supply chain innovations
Skillsets Needed
· Strong knowledge of supply chain, procurement, and inventory management principles
· Expertise in importing guidelines, import duties, shipping, and freight forwarding
· Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, Zoho, or custom platforms)
· Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
· Analytical skills to assess supplier performance and market trends
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to develop and implement efficient storage and inventory systems
· Familiarity with safety, compliance, and quality control procedures in a warehouse setting
Technical & Regulatory Knowledge
· GST & E-way Bill Compliances
· Import Licensing & DGFT Procedures
· Quality Standards (ISO, BIS, etc.)
· Excel & Reporting Tools: Pivot tables, dashboards, and data visualization
Eligibility
· Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, logistics, and inventory management
· Proven experience in managing import of goods and off-site logistics
· Experience in AI, technology, or data-driven industries is a plus
Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
