Role Description The Study Abroad Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Vishakhapatnam. The advisor will counsel prospective students and families on study abroad options, including suitable countries, programs, and universities aligned with academic background and career goals.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, managing application workflows, coordinating documentation for admissions and visas, and tracking student progress. The advisor will collaborate with university partners, maintain accurate student records, and provide timely updates on deadlines,



requirements, and scholarship opportunities. The role also involves organizing information sessions, pre-departure briefings, and follow-up support to ensure a smooth transition to overseas institutions.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Educational Consulting and Consulting, with the ability to advise students on programs, universities, and countries.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills for working with learners, families, and institutional partners.
- Knowledge of Visas and related processes, including documentation, timelines, and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field; relevant certifications in education counseling are an advantage.
- Experience in study abroad advising, student counseling, or higher education services preferred.
- Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment with strong attention to detail and time management.
- Comfort with using digital tools for student tracking, communication, and document management.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity when supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
