Role & responsibilities

- Drive the annual business/strategic planning process in close coordination with MD, CFO, and Business Heads, ensuring timely freezing of the annual plan.

- Consolidate, review, and submit monthly MIS to the MD and Chairman across functions Technical, Projects, BD etc.

- Provide periodic business updates to senior management and promoters

- Set the agenda for the weekly Chairman review and prepare/circulate pre-read materials.

- Technical understanding of real estate business including, Planning, BD & Land etc.

- Prepare investment notes, deal papers, and Board/Chairman presentations with transparent risk-return framing for go/no-go decisions.

- Track and assess M&A;, JV, JDA, and outright purchase opportunities; recommend the optimal structure for each situation.

- Interface directly with promoters, investment bankers, shareholders/institutional partners, and external counsel on transaction matters.

- Conduct market intelligence and competitor benchmarking to proactively surface acquisition opportunities ahead of the market.

- Coordinate cross-functional inputs (legal, planning, finance, RERA/compliance)



to keep transaction timelines on track.

- Advise on land-use options, zoning, and regulatory/policy implications relevant to potential acquisitions.

- Own the transaction pipeline tracker and provide the Chairman with regular, structured status updates and early warnings on risk.

- Support ancillary strategic mandates for the Chairman's office as they arise, including select high-priority special situations.

Preferred candidate profile

- 8-15 years of experience in real estate.

- Demonstrated track record of closing land/asset acquisitions, JDAs, or strategic transactions of significant scale.

- Strong grounding in valuation, financial modelling, project economics, and deal structuring.

- Prior exposure to MD/Chairman's office, Board reporting, or investor relations is a strong advantage.

- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive communication skills; comfort operating with high autonomy and discretion.

MBA, RICS or real estate background is preferred.
