About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a BIBA store. The Store Manager will be responsible for driving sales and profitability, ensuring excellent customer experience, managing store operations, and leading the store team effectively.

The ideal candidate should have strong retail acumen, excellent people-management skills, and the ability to consistently deliver business targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Performance

- Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor store performance against key business parameters such as Sales, ATV, UPT, Conversion, Footfall, and Productivity.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales and maximize store profitability.
- Plan and execute initiatives to improve store performance.
- Monitor daily sales and prepare performance updates as required.

1. Store Operations

- Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day functioning of the store.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, visual merchandising, and housekeeping.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, policies, and operational guidelines.
- Monitor stock availability, replenishment, transfers, and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure proper handling of cash, billing, discounts, returns, and exchanges.
- Coordinate with the relevant teams for operational requirements and issue resolution.

1. Customer Experience

- Ensure consistently high standards of customer service.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations effectively.
- Build solid customer relationships and encourage repeat visits.
- Ensure the team demonstrates strong product knowledge and customer engagement skills.

1. Team Management

- Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to achieve business objectives.
- Allocate daily responsibilities and monitor individual performance.
- Conduct regular team briefings and provide feedback/coaching.
- Ensure adequate staffing and effective manpower utilization.




- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of store employees.
- Build a positive, disciplined, and performance-oriented store culture.

1. Inventory Management

- Ensure accurate inventory management and stock reconciliation.
- Monitor stock movement, replenishment, ageing, and availability.
- Minimize stock loss, shrinkage, damages, and discrepancies.
- Coordinate and support periodic stock audits and physical inventory counts.
- Ensure proper implementation of RTV, IBT, stock transfers, and stock receiving processes.

1. Compliance & Controls

- Ensure adherence to company policies and retail SOPs.
- Maintain proper documentation and store records.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and operational controls.
- Identify operational gaps and take corrective action promptly.

Experience & Qualification
- Experience: 48 years of relevant experience in retail store operations, preferably in fashion/apparel retail.
- Experience in managing a team and handling a high-volume retail store will be preferred.
- Candidates from fashion, ethnic wear, lifestyle, departmental, or premium retail backgrounds are preferred.
- Qualification: Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Retail Management will be an added advantage.
