Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store Assistant Manager / Store Incharge to manage day-to-day store and inventory operations at a plant location. The candidate should have good knowledge of distillery plant materials, mechanical components and electrical components and should be capable of maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day store and inventory operations.
- Handle receipt, inspection, storage and issue of materials.
- Maintain proper records of stock, inward/outward movement and material consumption.
- Manage inventory of mechanical, electrical and plant-related components.
- Ensure proper identification, categorization and protected storage of materials.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate for timely replenishment of required materials.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Maintenance, Production and other departments for material requirements.
- Maintain documentation such as GRN, material issue/receipt records, stock registers and inventory reports.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.




- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety and systematic arrangement of the store.
- Monitor slow-moving, excess and obsolete inventory.
- Support maintenance and plant teams by ensuring availability of required spares and components.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in plant/store/inventory operations.
- Practical knowledge of distillery plant materials and operations.
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical components/spares.
- Experience in handling industrial stores, preferably in a manufacturing, distillery or process plant.
- Good inventory management and documentation skills.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/ERP systems will be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage store operations responsibly.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in distillery, manufacturing, process plant or industrial stores, particularly those familiar with mechanical and electrical spares, will be preferred.
