- Manage the day-to-day operations of the plant store and warehouse.
- Ensure proper receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, and issue of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, finished goods, and other inventory.
- Monitor inward and outward material movement and ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and avoid overstocking or stock-outs.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Implement proper FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper binning, labelling, identification, and systematic storage of materials.
- Maintain GRN, Material Issue Slips, Material Transfer Notes, Gate Passes, and other store-related documents.
- Coordinate with the Purchase Department for material receipts and pending deliveries.
- Coordinate with the Production and Maintenance Teams to ensure timely availability of required materials.




- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of critical and high-value materials.
- Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and 5S standards.
- Lead and supervise store personnel, including Store Executives, Supervisors, and Helpers.
- Prepare and share regular inventory and stock reports with management.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and inventory control procedures.
- Support internal and external audits related to inventory and stores.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements for better inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
