Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement of textile processing chemicals, dyes, auxiliaries and related materials.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery and service.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts and annual rate agreements with vendors.
- Ensure timely availability of chemicals as per production and business requirements.
- Monitor market trends, chemical prices and alternative sources to achieve cost optimization.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D;, Quality, Stores and Finance for procurement planning and issue resolution.
- Develop alternate suppliers and ensure supply continuity for critical chemicals.
- Maintain vendor performance, purchase MIS, cost savings and procurement documentation.
- Ensure procurement complies with quality, safety,



statutory and company requirements.

Candidate Profile:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Textile Chemistry or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in procurement/purchase of chemicals, preferably within textile processing, dyes & auxiliaries or manufacturing.
- Strong vendor management, negotiation, market intelligence and cost optimization skills.
- Valuable understanding of chemical specifications, quality parameters and commercial terms.
